Fundraising & Rostering

CURRENT FUNDRAISERS

Bottle Drive: We will be holding three bottle drives throughout the school year for families who wish to drop off bottles. How it works:

  • 1 large black garbage bag of bottles = $5.00 credit towards fundraising credit
  • Drop off bottles to depot yourself and submit refund = full refund amount credited to our fundraising account

Clearly label each bag with your child’s name and class day/time OR label cash (or cheque made out to Vegreville Preschool Association) refund in sealed envelope and write child’s name and class/day time and the amount donated to the teacher.

Bottles will be accepted at the preschool during the following dates only:

October 18, 19 & 20, 2017

January 24, 25 & 26, 2018

April 11, 12 & 13, 2018

ROSTERING REQUIREMENT

Many of the crafts enjoyed by the Preschool children require a significant amount of advance preparation time. The main duty of the roster parent is to assist the teacher with this. Rosters may also assist the teacher with other aspects of the program, as time permits. Calendars are posted monthly on the classroom bulletin board and parents are encouraged to sign up in advance for these days. Roster days may take place on your child’s birthday/un-birthday celebration day as long as the roster is staying for the entire length of the class. If you unable to roster in class other opportunities are available throughout the school year, please contact the teacher for more information. Requirements are as follows:

Three Year Old Program & Four Year Old Program: Two roster days required. One post-dated cheque (June 1, 2018) for $50.00 will be collected at the time of registration.
