ALL INFORMATION IS FOR THE 26/27 SCHOOL YEAR


Registration information and the parent handbook for the 2026/2027 school year are now available at the links below.

 

The online registration link for the 2026/2027 preschool year will be available on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 8:00 am. Once you have submitted your online registration, you will receive an email with a link to complete a form to select the preschool program you would like to register your child in. The form must be completed to be a complete registration. If you have any problems with the online registration, the form, don’t receive an email with the form, or have questions, please text or call the Preschool Administrator @ 780-900-2099.


Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Vegreville Preschool 5106 – 48 Avenue in the preschool classroom. If you attend the AGM, you will earn priority for your online registration you submitted.  Attendance will be taken during the AGM meeting.

You will receive an email in May 2026 confirming your child’s registration. Keep an eye in your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there. If all spots are filled for your first choice, we will put you on a waiting list and offer you your second choice. If you have registered and not had your registration confirmed before June 12, 2026, please email vegpreschool@gmail.com and inquire. Any registrations received after June 19, 2026, will receive confirmation when we resume operations by the end of the week of August 17, 2026. However, you may check periodically during the summer, confirmations may be sent earlier.

 

There are six Board of Director positions that will need to be filled at the AGM. Vegreville Preschool Association is a registered non-profit society in Alberta and requires the Board of Directors to govern and manage the society during the 2026-2027 school year. If you volunteer for a board position, your registration will be guaranteed in your program of choice. 

The following positions will need to be filled:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer/Registrar
  • Secretary
  • Social Media
  • Fundraising Coordinator


*The Preschool Administrator assists with all these positions to ensure an easy transition into the board positions.
